I'm glad you're having a great time in DC. Great thinking on the fridge. That is a ton of walking.

Here now...
multiple Chipotles (as back-up, yay!)

At at Burger, Shake and Tap yesterday (gourmet fast food burgers (beef, poultry, fish)) --- safe, canola oil frying and no nuts/peanuts.

There's a Clyde's near where I'll be near of the end of the day today and will try there for dinner.

Else - a nice Trader Joe's next to my hotel and I put "medically necessary fridge" for my fridge request and got one no charge :)  Apparently, that's how you do it. I've never been able to get one on a conference rate before if it's a 'by request' hotel.  I've got pre-cooked chicken, romaine, salad dressing, fruit/veg all ready for lunches  :)  So easy!

...side note...we walked TEN MILES yesterday between noon and 5pm going from the Foggy Bottom area down to national mall/memorials/monuments, all the way down to the White House and then all the way back down Penn Ave.  For someone my stride/height that's about 35,000 steps!!

And (not nagging) we have a number of threads--which detail M Street offerings. If I get the chance tonight I'll point you to some. We do well at Clyde's and La Madeleine on M Street. On the other side there is a Chipotle and a Qdoba as standbys.

You're going to have a great time!

Clyde's in Georgetown is our go-to place (actually the whole chain is). Pizzeria Paradiso in Dupont has pesto as a topping to its pizzas. I haven't eaten in the Dupont area for years. If you are in Dupont, check out Kramerbooks. It's one of my favorite bookstores. There is a cafe attached to it that does serve items with nuts.

We have eaten at Clyde's (Georgetown location) and they seem very allergy aware.

any suggestions for pn/tn allergy friendly restaurants in the Georgetown/Dupont Circle area of DC?

I already found Dogtag Bakery (pn/nut free!) and am near a Chipotle as my backup plan for any meal.

Thanks!
