IDK, seems bulky to me.  We would not use anything like that on a daily basis.

For extreme temps, maybe.  I guess some would say our Frio is bulky too, but I guess we are use to that and that we put in a mesh bag and c clamp it to anything else we are bringing for the day.

I've seen the same ad, but haven't clicked on anything to find out more info.  For us, the slimmer the better, DS is currently self-carrying to school and put them in his cargo pocket shorts.

I like the idea of something protecting epis against heat and cold.

So this link appeared in my facebook feed:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/epipen-temperature-protection-epishell#/

A food allergy dad is behind trying to bring the epishell to market. It's a hard casing that looks like a thermos that you put the epipen inside, and it is designed to adjust the temperature inside according to the temp outside, so the epipen doesn't go bad in extreme temps.

Anyone hear of this? Thoughts?

My first thought is that it's bulky...but if you could in theory leave one in your car now?? Or in a sports bag let's say that we frequently forget about that stays in the garage? Or at the beach or skiing?

He's looking for funding to bring it to market. I don't know a whole lot about bringing products to market so I wanted to see what others think.

<I don't know him at all, and am not asking anyone else to donate money> Just curious about this potential of this product and what others think.
