WHEAT AND MILK ALLERGY ALERT
April 2, 2012
Taylor Farms New Jersey, Inc. a Swedesboro, N.J., establishment is recalling approximately 187 pounds of chicken products because of misbranding and undeclared allergens, wheat and milk, that are not declared on the label.

The products subject to recall include:
10-ounce plastic trays of "GOOD & deLISH ISLAND SEASONED CHICKEN."
•   12.5-lb. cases of "GOOD & deLISH ISLAND SEASONED CHICKEN."

The products also bear the establishment number "P-34513" inside the USDA mark of inspection on the label and possess case codes 089512 or 119312. The products have use-by dates ranging from March 30 to April 4, 2012. The products were produced Feb. 24, 2012, and March 14, 2012, and were shipped to a distribution center and retail locations in the New York City area in the wrong identifying sleeve.

The problem was reported to FSIS by members of the company's production crew. FSIS and the company have received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.

FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. When available, the retail distribution list(s) will be posted on the FSIS website at: www.fsis.usda.gov/FSIS_Recalls/Open_Federal_Cases/index.asp.

Consumers with questions about the recall should contact Roselyn Cordero in the company's customer service section, at (856) 241-0097, ext. 116. Media with questions about the recall should contact the company's Chief Operating Officer Alan Applonie at 209-830-3107.
