Thanks for sharing your experience.  I've always wondered about the cafe there.  I've heard very good things about the food but wondered if it would be safe for DD.

What a beautiful museum (American Indian) AND Mitsitam Cafe was great - I had wonderful vegetarian dish - my mom had buffalo chili, the boys had buffalo burgers, fresh fruit and a soup with alligator(!).
The manager came out front today for us, walked us through the entire menu, so that my allergic ds could make a safe choice!  That was the best allergy customer service we've had since we went to Disney World, last year.  Very impressive!  He was so nice and very helpful ~~ we will definitely be back and recommend their cafĂ©!
