I don't get the reluctance to put that on the package. Do they WANT someone to unknowingly buy it and have a reaction? Would that be good for business??

I was really craving a side dish of polenta with dinner tonight - I bought some Colavita quick cooking polenta because it didn't any warnings. 

Neurotic as I am  ;), I called them and asked about shared equipment, etc.  They told me it was in a shared facility with peanuts and tree nuts, so they wouldn't recommend that I use it.

Duh, thanks loads.  Maybe print it on the package so I would know that from get-go, eh?
