Would the moderators consider changing it so that a guest post a link

Unfortunately, no, sorry-- because of forum spam.

We get plenty of actual registrations already which are for that purpose-- and we have layers of "newbie" permissions to deal with it, actually.  Plenty of other sites won't even allow that much-- we do, but there's absolutely NO reason why you can't register, then unregister.

Can you post it as plain text? Is it activatemysavings? Double-checking that it's not a case of $0 co-pay.

Also, the website I use does not require you to have insurance.  The epipens are free for everyone, with insurance or without.

The website I use gives you a coupon for free epipens, not $100 off.  I just filled a rx for 2 two packs over the weekend and paid $0.  Would the moderators consider changing it so that a guest post a link?  I would love to post it since it seems like others are wasting money.  I realize you don`t want spammers, but people are wasting a lot of money paying for something that is so easily obtained for free.  This offer is good until the end of 2014.

Ahh...gotcha. I see that the coupon does have a no copay with insurance. That actually will help. I will get another prescription from the doctor after we are insured.
Thanks everyone!

Only with insurance, which is exact nature of the problem OP is in. She's caught in an uninsured gap. I feel like I should query someone from ACA and normally I'm quite stalwart about penetrating government bureaucracy but I don't know where to find purchase on that one that gets the sort of answer that I can point another to. No one should have to make that decision to get life threatening medication for their child.

Feelings aside, it's the how does it get done so we would have a more practical answer. Insurance and taxes I'm terrible at both.

Are Auvi Q's cheaper with the coupons? Something else to consider as an option.

There are links for up to $100 off of each purchase (from Mylan):

https://activatemysavings.com/epipen/

But other than Mylan's own patient assistance program (which takes quite a while and has a lot of documentation that our OP won't have-- that is, proof of income less than 200% of federal poverty standards, etc.) I am unaware of anything that provides them completely FREE.

Btw-- I have yet to run across anything more current than:

http://www.needymeds.org/papforms/deyepi0060.pdf

and

http://www.needymeds.org/drug_list.taf?_function=name&name=EpiPen%202-Pak&gname=epinephrine

for low-income assistance.  I am posting them both in case they are helpful.

Can you tell me what to Google? We are going on a cruise in March, and I would really like to take more than 2.

Virtually every plan posts their formulary for their ACA compliant plans (also known as "Obamacare" plans) on their website.  It may take a bit of looking but it is virtually always there.  You can get free epipens at a certain website.  I tried to post the link, but got a message saying guests are not allowed to post external links.  The link I wanted to post provides three 2 packs (so six epipens) for free.  You do need an rx from your doctor and you don`t have to get three two packs.  You can get less than that if you don`t need that many.

OP is in a situation without health insurance coverage of any sort. There is no plan, no formulary.

More on the functional than political side I wonder how to get epinephrine through the ACA insurance exchange? I don't want to argue about ACA itself just get to the bottom of how to in case someone else is w/o insurance.
It's just like with any plan, you have to check each plan's formulary to see which of your meds are covered.

The challenge is getting a current formulary from each plan.  But that's another post entirely.

Glad you got those epipens, and that your insurance will kick in soon!
