It's kind of the same at my pharmacy. They usually have one or two on the shelf. The only time they have more in stock is just prior to the start of the school year. There are a lot of kids with food allergies in my general area.

No disagreement at all. It is a weird business though knowing that the forces for market presence aren't necessarily close to patient driven. You expect it for a burger or phone but not life saving rescue meds. I think Shionogi has licensed out its autoinjector technology to quite a few manufacturers over the years. If not Sanofi then another manufacturer may elect to try to license the Intelliject autoinjector technology. I wholeheartedly agree that Sanofi shot itself in the foot with the launch. Their customer service is incompetent.

It's clearly a board for sales reps.  The Sanofi forum has a number of threads about AuviQ. It didn't make its numbers last year.  My insurance does not cover it. I work for a Fortune 10 company with more than 100K employees in the U.S. alone. If they can't get on insurance plans for large corporations, they're going to have a hard time making inroads into the market. One thread had a post about a discussion a sales rep had with a pharmacist. Pharmacies are reluctant to stock it because they got burned with Twinjeck and adrenaclick. I would love to get the AuviQ for DD but I'm not going to spend nearly $400 on it; that's the price at all my local pharmacies.

cafepharma should be read mainly for entertainment purposes. I think they need to blow off steam considering the nature of the job.

and here I thought it was just the Canadian market they didn't care about.  Seriously.

I have contacted the company twice and been ignored twice.  I assumed because they just didn't care about the Canadian market.

It got nasty!  I hope they are just blowing off steam.

I am happy to say that a few minutes ago I refilled DD's Auvi Q script with Medco, no problem.
