DS loved the chocolate pie.  He thinks it takes like a chocolate frosted donut from dunkin donuts (one near us in IL was nut free).  DD and I liked the sugar glazed dough part better than the chocolate.  Will report back on fruit flavors if we buy any.

{MAY CONTAIN PITS}

that's a new one.

I was tempted to buy one of every flavor, but only bought two of the chocolate ones.  It's a local grocery store so not a big deal to go back assuming they will carry them all the time.

I just looked at the nutrition info on the cherry pies, thought this was amusing:

So DS and I ran to the grocery store and he was looking at a display at check out of baskets of boxed mini pies (hand held size) so I said pick it up and read the label.  Sure enough, doesn't it say made in a nut free facility...couldn't believe it.  So we bought 2...they look similar to the hostess fruit pies that I remember as a kid.

Haven't tried it yet.  Will report back once it's been eaten.
