Thanks everyone.  Looks like the soonest we can get in for a challenge is 1/8/15.  Was hoping for before Christmas but it is what it is.

Goo dnews for ds, and on the PN/TN for dd, right?  I hope he passed the challenges.

Hopefully with time, dd will get there too on the milk and egg.  Those are hard allergies with travelling and having to dine out.

DD handled the news well. DS is excited but I have to keep reminding him & myself that he might not pass.  It's so hard not to get your hopes up.  Waiting to hear from the challenge scheduler.

Wow--milk for him and peanut/treenut for her? I know her passing wouldn't mean a practical differnenxe in your house, but in the long run, it could mean some cool things for her.  I'm sorry they both don't get to do the milk though. That's for to be hard with FA siblings. But it seems you do a good job preparing them.

What a rush of emotions!

The blood work is back.  DS can do another baked egg challenge and milk.  I emailed for clarification bc I'm not sure if they mean pizza or uncooked milk.  DD's milk & egg numbers went up slightly so no challenges for her this year.  I'm very disappointed for her.  It will be hard if DS goes forward and she can't but we've talked about that possibility.  We can challenge peanut & tree nut.  I guess we should but I'm very nervous about it.

Edited to add that it's uncooked milk for DS.  Oh my, I'm in tears bc I'm excited his numbers are so low and bc I'm scared to death.  We've been down this path once before - he passed an ice cream challenge & got a few gives the next day.
