FYI- the company closed it's doors.  Just stocked up on english muffins for the freezer to get through the rest of the school year breakfasts.

Yes, we will probably try them...it's a calculated risk.

As far as we know DS has never reacted to sesame, we took it out of his diet because our first allergist told us to, and then found out later that we shouldn't have.  Current allergist is conservative so will not do a food challenge...we'd have to go to Boston for one.

Here's the info I got back concerning sesame...

Hi
Our facility is nut free, but we do have sesame seeds on our bread line. Our
bread and donuts do not share any processing or packaging equipment.  If I
have not sufficiently addressed your concerns, please do not hesitate to
contact me.

so does that mean the donuts are ok for you?

Ah - the Burlington VT location of KKB and VBC are run/managed by the same family, is what I understand...though they are two separate companies. So - the KKB in Springfield MA they don't manage, it's separate managers. All KKB are owned by the same family. VBC is a separate company.

All are nut/pn free, from my understanding. You could write in and ask.

The apple cider donuts and pumpkin donuts are really good.

Just purchased the whole wheat bread at a ShopRite in New Jersey.  Saw the donuts but I didn't realize that they were from the same company. They were all in a separate display on an end cap, not in the bakery/bread area.

They are traveling further down the east coast!

I saw that in the store today.  Vermont Bread Co makes bread with sesame so they told me in a msg that there is a chance of x-contamination.  Don't know about the donuts by Koffee Kup yet in terms of sesame.

Just popping this out from the other thread.

English muffins, breads, etc.  Local to New England and are in a bunch of stores (all the way down to MA).

to me
Good Morning,

We are a peanut/tree nut free facility. Some packaging still states that our product is produced in a facility that contains nuts.  This packaging is out of date and is scheduled to be replaced.
