From april 2016

I am sorry I am just getting back to you on this. I just wanted to verify with my regulatory department on our other facilities. We have removed the warning statement from a lot of our products because those products are now produced in a nut free, peanut free facility. If the product is processed in a facility with nuts or peanuts it will be noted on the package.

If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks,

I contacted them a year ago about their pretzel poppers and they do have a nut free facility so maybe the pretzels you saw were made there.  Here's their response:

"Yes, our Pretzel Poppers are currently produced in a facility that is peanut and tree nut and peanut butter free.

The date code on the front of the package would have the 2 letters ZZ at the beginning of the 2nd line within the code information, confirming this is our peanut, tree and peanut butter free facility.

Hope this helps."

Are these pretzels safe? Has anyone called on these? There is no warning anymore.
