Check out the Unisom products.

They are marketed as sleep aids, but at least one of them, in chewable form, is the same ingredient as Benadryl - and in more adult dosage.

I will buy them when they're on sale, because they cost a little more than the Benadryl, but they are handy to have around....

Shopper's usually has them, as does our local PharmaPlus/Rexall.

thanks for the update :)

I'm still waiting for children's cetirizine (Reactine syrup) to re-appear one day as it has been about 2 years now since it's been recalled.

After all the antihistamine recalls, it's been impossible to find chewable benedryl.  But this week I found Life Brand antihistamine at Shoppers Drug Mart.   It's the same active ingredient as benedryl.  It's for children (6 and up I think) so my teen has to take a few, but he's still not good at swallowing pills, so this was a great find.
