That warning makes me pause, but I have to say that we have used so many of these and never had the slightest problem.  I will most likely continue to use them.  DD has a very low threshold.  Guittard is the only chocolate I ever buy.  And the little Enjoy Life chocolate chips for my granola bars.

Thank you. I think I may order some for when we make Christmas goodies. I don't usually do anything that requires a candy coating because I don't like using chocolate chips for that and I can't find anything around here.

DD has (we're pretty sure we have rxn hx) an almond allergy.  We don't know how high her threshold might be, really-- but it is low enough that she had trouble with Amy's products re: almond XC.

No problems-- ever-- with Guittard, though.

So if you're dealing with almond allergies have you had a problem with their melts?

Are you sure that is Guittard and not Ghiradelli?

I haven't used that site before but there are some reviews here:

Edit: Does everyone have good luck with Guittard melts with TNA? They say they have almonds in the factory but they're isolated and only run on their own line. It seems safe enough but I have yet to try the brand.

I've not bought from them, but that is within 0.50c of what I've paid at the local grocery stores (who sometimes stock them seasonally).

http://www.save-on-crafts.com/milchocmelnm.html $2.99 for 12 oz

I can't buy these locally-is this a good price for them? Has anyone bought them from this website?
