We got it at walmart. It's a small digital thermometer and has a suction cup on it. You can reset it to whatever 24 hour time period you want by opening the battery drawer and closing it again. I don't know how accurate it is but it seemed pretty close on vacation when I knew the car was getting over 120 degrees inside on some days.

Ugh. That really sucks. We have never had an issue with high heats but have had to replace twice due to cold. It sucks but we had no other option than to replace.

I feel like we've been doing this a lot this year. Today dh took dd fishing. Since the temp was supposed to be in the 60's, he didn't take the frio. DD has a small thermometer she keeps in her bag that shows the minimum and maximum temp of the past 24 hours. So she took that along and kept it in the plastic baggie with her meds to monitor temp. The meds were in the pickup with the windows open and not right in the sun. She forgot to look at it during the day and when she did, the max temp had been 101.  :-/ We've met our deductible for the year due to an injury and surgery so we don't have to pay but it's like pulling teeth to get the dr to call in refills. We have one refill at Walmart right now. The new allergist was supposed to call in an unlimited or large amt of refills but only called in one for some reason, and it's a pain trying to get ahold of their office.
