If you ask the CSR (Customer Service Rep) AKA "Gate Agent" very nicely, should be no problem.  Sometimes if there is tight schedule they may only offer cursory preboard, so best to have asked and been on their radar.

Don't forget that seat belt buckle, the window shade, and the trays front and back . . . and the phone if child is young enough to not leave it alone . . .

Have a safe and fun trip!

Hi,

We are flying with United in March.

Does anybody know if they will let me pre board to wipe down my son's seat?

Thanks,

Ali
