Eaten them for years--though only about once a summer because they are colored sugar.

last summer I bought a lot of 300 'popice sleeves' to make my own pop-ice with my niece & nephew. Can do fruit juice, yogurt/fruit, smoothie, coffee-frappe type...so good!

But of a pain to find the sleeves, which is why I bought 300. Made some for a party too that were a hit!

They were like these: http://www.amazon.com/icecandybags-com-Ice-Candy-Bags-100-Piece/dp/B007V79B6Y (http://www.amazon.com/icecandybags-com-Ice-Candy-Bags-100-Piece/dp/B007V79B6Y)

so easy to make once you get the hang of how to do it so they don't spill all over

That's interesting!! ^^^

I'm not a fan of fruit.. at all.. what flavors did you use?

And now that I know people use Pop Ice.. I forsee a full freezer soon.. not  always the best (read: cleanest) option with 5 kids lol.

I was doing all kinds of recipes I  found online --- "gourmet popsicle" and 'homemade popsicle' --- some homemade fudgsicles were the best!

Some I remember:
Fresh strawberries and vanilla yogurt
Blueberry puree w/ real lemonade
Blueberries and yogurt
Banana and yogurt
cranberry pomegranate juice
orange juice and vanilla yogurt

They makes some plastic sleeves with a zipper close.

There are also reusable silicone popsicle sleeves with a lid.

McC, read the reviews on the Zolu PPP maker.  We had one and the liquid inside leaked after very few uses.  I just googled and saw many comments telling the same story.  They are pricey to break so quickly.

We have had good luck with their slushy cups.

We had one leak, and they replaced it.  You are supposed to store them upright.

Maybe I should contact them, but have no receipts left.  Might have been on its side to fit in the freezer.

I didn't have a receipt, but maybe gave them a number on the bottom of it.  Can't remember the details.
