QuoteKraft changed the recipe for Mac & Cheese three months ago — and nobody noticed

As a matter if fact, I did notice. When I mixed in the cheese I noticed a different colour and a different smell. Neither was bad...just different. So I reread the ingredients. It still read safe for me, so I ate it like a "new food". Put a small amount on my tongue and waited. Swallowed and waited. Paying attention to any sign of itching, stuffy nose, funny feeling on tongue. You all know the drill.

The taste was subtly different. Not bad, not better, just different.

But, I don't like when people turn me into a Guinea pig. (I assume the new ingredients were listed properly on the box. My allergens were not there.)

I actually went and checked the boxes I still have.

The new ingredients are all listed under "flavor" and "color". So anyone with allergies to those specific things would not have known they were added. One group I'm in on FB that has nothing to do with allergies, one person mentioned having thought she had developed a new allergy because she was suddenly reacting to KD.
