Title: Ener-G Egg Replacer
Post by: GoingNuts on August 27, 2025, 02:46:03 PM
I need an egg replacer for baking that is also safe for PN, TN, Sesame and Soy allergies.

Does Ener-G for the bill, or should I use something else?

TIA!

GN- does it still exist?

I found this, it probably depends on what you are baking.

I'd rather not use applesauce or pumpkin because that would change the flavor. That definitely wouldn't work in matzoh balls!

Well, crap. Ener-G isn't available on Amazon. I'll have to hunt it down. Bob's Red Mill is made on shared equipment with my son's allergens. Aquafaba is definitely out due to chick pea allergy.

GN- I saw a reddit post that they were looking for a new partner and stopped production a year ago.

Now because I googled it, a different one came up on my Instagram called Crackd which is a liquid egg replacer.  Also it looks like Namaste has a powdered egg replacer.

Thanks Hezz, I'll look into those.
