Title: Sour Patch Candy Canes
Post by: joshsmom on November 02, 2011, 02:04:22 PM
I purchased some Sour Patch Candy Canes. I was surprised that they are made in China by Frankford Candy and Chocolate Company. Has anyone purchased these. I have called, but not heard back. My son was so disappointed when I said he had to wait. I hate these stupid allergies!!!!!!!

That is my son doing the happy dance! They are safe. No chance of cross-contamination with peanut & treenuts. Made in a candy cane factory owned and operated by Frankford Candy Co.

These candy canes burnt my tongue! November 2013 I bought them at Target. I ate one red sour patch candy cane and my to une immediately blistered on the side and top. My whole tongue has a red, bubbly feel and burns.
Could this be from the outer sour coating? Perhaps the citric acid burnt me?  :nocupcakes:
