Does anyone use these?
We do.
Yes.
We do!
We do.
us too.
They're our go-to candy canes. Having trouble finding them this year, though.
Our Walmart has TONS of them....all made in Mexico, I didn't know if others trusted ones not made in the USA.
I think there you would go with a manufacturer that shows responsibility to both label in a way we can actually use and have the ability to perform reasonable oversight. "Made in the USA" or "Product of USA" is not as straightforward as one might think.
We tend not to buy any products from Mexico- except for the Spangler candy products. After talking with them last year and them discussing the strict controls in their plants and their management of these plants, I felt comfortable with using them. We have a strict comfort zone, but I have found them to be very allergy aware. You may want to see what response thye give this year.

Look at Michaels, I've seen them there this year.
I got mine at Michael's yesterday - both large and small sizes.
Found some at JoAnn fabric--large only.
I found Spangler candy canes made in the USA in Publix tonight. They clearly stated they were free of the top-8 as well as artificial colors. Price was reasonable (just under $3). They were in a black box and almost hard to discern as being Spangler at first glance.
Prior to this, I had purchased Bob's canes which are also made in Mexico but I trust their companies labeling (though keep in mind that Bob's often is repackaged for other companies with mixed safety warnings).
