Title: Is there a safe cookie that is like GS trefoils?
Post by: Jessica on January 20, 2013, 04:04:32 PM
Our local troops use ABC so we can't get Trefoils here, and the Shortbread ones from ABC have a warning. Is there a commercial cookie that is like the trefoils or is anyone who can get them interested in sending us a few boxes?

Thanks but I have zero desire to try to make them myself. I'll see if any of my relatives in other states can get some (I'm not sure any of them know anyone with GS age kids though... )

Are the Trefoils unsafe?  We purchased some on the weekend from a troop at the rest area while we were driving to NY.  The label read safe, so we bought them.  Safe for my dd's PN/TN allergies.  No warnings.  Other varieties there did have warnings.

This was a new cookie for us as dd used ot sell the shortbread named ones.  Not okay for her.  we were excited.  And she has had a few.  Should we nix that?

Nevermind.  I misread your OP.  Looks like they are ok for us.
