Title: Skiing and Epis
Post by: Mezzo on March 03, 2013, 07:48:18 AM
Is it okay to wear an Epi belt while you ski?

This will be a kid learning and falling down, not serious skiing.

I would think it will be fine under the jacket.  Maybe in front, so if the fall in on the back, it will not be onto a hard epi case.

Having been head butted and kicked in my considerable epinephrine stash I highly recommend over the rib cage. Or a flat Auvi-Q over a solidly muscled area like butt or thigh.

When skiing DS wears his epi Belt with the pen in the front, has been since he was 4 years old.

He wears it under his ski pants.

He has had many crashes while skiing and has never 'felt' the epi belt.
