Title: SPI Belt
Post by: QsMommy on June 27, 2014, 09:24:40 PM
Any idea where I can buy the SPI Belt in Canada?

Has anyone ordered from their website and had delivery to Canada?  If so, how long did it take?  Was shipping expensive?

My DS Ebelt broke tonight and we are going on holidays in a week.  I'm hoping to replace it before we leave, if possible.

Thanks

Ali

If you google Spibelt and Canada, a lot of links come up, including Amazon and Dick's Sporting Goods.

We have ordered from their website and had the items shipped to Canada.  We found their shipping rates reasonable and their customer service top notch.

If you are using them for EpiPen, be sure to put the EpiPens in a resealable plastic bag (i.e. Ziploc) so the hinges on the outer case don't wear a hole int he SPIbelt material.  We learnt that one the hard way, but the zip top bag trick has worked ever since, with no major wear, even with daily use including running and sports.

Beware that the adult size says it can fit a 25" waist but I wouldn't recommend it at that size for sports.  Mine moves around when running or really active, and I would recommend the child size if your waist is 25" or less.  (My waist is 24.5".)

Thanks for the replies.

I ordered the kids size from a site called DiabetesExpress.  The are in Ontario and claim 'next day delivery'

I am hoping we get it before we leave.  Not sure if next day delivery is possible with Canada Day coming up.
