May be far fetched, but thought I'd ask anyway!
I'm new to this, so any explanations could be useful to me!
DD14 was recently diagnosed with peanut allergy. Symptoms of peanut allergy didn't show until recently, she had a andioedema in January which may or may not have been due to peanut allergy. Other than that the only other symptom was itchy throat after eating peanut, starting this June. Symptoms of hypoglycemia started last Winter, but she's been dealing with other health issues so everything is kind of muddled in my mind. I don't know what symptoms go with what. This week I asked the doctor to test for blood sugars and her a1c average was in the low range. We have more labs scheduled and we are treating with several small healthy snacks a day which seems to help so far.
(She's a good eater, the only time she doesn't eat is when she is having nausea. Knowing that we may be dealing with hypoglycemia, I've been having her eat a few oyster crackers. Wait and then something with some protein and it seems to help. Then she can eat normally. BTW, she complains about not being able to eat because she's nauseous, wants to eat but doesn't want to throw up.)
