He's lucky!  Too many stories of people not having their Epi Pens.  I tell DD, no pen, no food, EVER!

I think that it's important to realize that this story very likely has a HAPPY ending because for a young woman in Dublin less than 2y ago-- it did not-- when a pharmacy refused the same thing, which basically led her to die in the middle of a crowded pedestrian shopping area filled with Christmas foot traffic.   

I'm really glad, though, when such deaths wind up SAVING OTHER PEOPLE.  Because at least then they meant something.   :heart:

Yes, 14 year old Emma Sloan.  They do mention her in the article.  Emma's death may well have served to remind Noelle and other pharmacists that they have the power to be helpful and refusing to do so can have horrifying results.
