:happydance: DS just passed his pecan challenge! He has been eating almonds and now we will start pecans too! I love pecans! Have to order then from Pearson's in GA. Any brand available at the store? Next challenge will be walnuts and then Brazil nuts.

Congratulations!  So excited for you...I do occasionally miss my mom's pecan pie at Thanksgiving.

I buy pecans and pecan meal from a grower in California.  I can look up info if you want it.

Walnuts from California too.  FYI, my DD can NOT eat Black Walnuts....she can eat English walnuts.  Who knew.  She passed her challenge with English Walnuts and had a reaction to Black Walnuts which tend to grow on the east coast.

These days we get Eliot pecans at the store. I can take a picture of the bag. Our go-to producer I detailed in the PF TN thread is out of business. But we love Eliot's.

Congrats!!! This is huge.
