:crazy:Didn't think about a separate dish sponge/brush! What a newbie!
We may try a sunbutter and see, right now we have all these PB alternatives in the cupboard that need to be used up!
I did use the Wowbutter to make cookies and they almost tasted like PB cookies, only a slight aftertaste. Probably just use all of them up with baking! DD loves to bake!

True. My DS doesn't really like subs. Well, he loves Nutella, but he outgrew hazelnuts and Nutella is made in a PF facility. He likes Biscoff, but that's a once a year kind if thing with the nutritional value the way it is. :)

But he lives hummus and other bean spreads.

Ooooh! She does love hummus! Please, tell me of these other bean spreads!
Thanks!

Also--I might give Sunbutter another try. Her taste buds may have matured. Also, there are a number if varieties. If she happened to have the natural kind, I would totally understand the reaction. Blah.

Well, and even if SHE doesn't care for it, it might be a safer alternative for your 16yo.

Resistance isn't futile.  It's voltage divided by current.

and if your 16 year old does not get it, don't feel bad....................................my DH does not get it and so after a brief time allowed back in the house....mayonnaise is gone again!

We love Sunbutter!  We have been eating it for years but DD never liked it.  However.......since May............DH has been put on notice........DD has now tested positive to sunflower seeds.  He either complies or we will lose that one too!  The boys are good.  All knives are washed with dish soap and paper towels before going into the dishwasher.

Also, we have a rule in our house, clean teaspoon in all jelly jars.......to avoid sunbutter in the jelly.
