Favorite soup recipes/tips?

I did a search and we have lots of different threads on soups.  When I have more time, I will come back and link them.  I have a favorite potato soup recipe I will post later.

I'm hoping others will post their favorite soup recipes and tips to make them flavorful.  My kids are looking for more meal ideas and it's the perfect time of year for soups!  Thanks in advance.

The easiest and best butternut squash soup.  Cube your squash, put in a pot with lightly sweetened chai tea.  I use a concentrate, but you can brew it and add a little sugar if you want.  Simmer until soft, then purée with an immersion blender.  yum!
