FARE Paves the Way for National Consensus Study on Food Allergy

In May 2015, FARE announced a new consensus study by the Institute of Medicine titled "Food Allergies: Global Burden, Causes, Treatment, Prevention and Public Policy."

FARE also had the opportunity to nominate representatives to the expert committee and patient advisory panel.

I'm sure they didn't mean it like that  . 


FA can be a burden ... physical, emotional, financial, etc.  Most here would love life without food allergies.  They are trying to study FA  ... trying to help us ... trying to lessen that burden.

I know. I'm sure they have our best interests at heart. Just rubbed the wrong way.

I felt the same when I read that, starlight.   


Still. Hoping for more awareness and a better future will come of events like this.  FARE does some amazing work.
