Is there awareness in the UK that Indian food is high risk?  It seems there have been a number of fatalities of food allergic people eating at Indian restaurants in the UK.  Does that spread awareness about the high risk nature of that food?

I was wondering the same.  It seems like so many of the reactions we read about in the UK involve curries.

Curries are also a more popular meal in the UK than in North America, which could be adding to that statistic.  Perhaps allergist's aren't telling their patients that ethnic foods are high risk?

a mixture of all these comments.

people are not aware of the risk, not always told by medical people to avoid these restaurants and of course curry is VERY popular in UK.
