It's just so sad.  The family will be speaking with Allergic Living and giving them more details of what happened.  Any reaction can be fatal, even in a hospital setting.  There are no guarantees; it's a risk anyone doing a challenge takes.  But still... sooooo sad.

And a reminder to NEVER do food challenges at home, especially to a known allergen with reaction history.

My heart breaks for this family. A moderator may want to move this into the Reactions and memorials thread.
