Kwik Trip, Inc. located in La Crosse, WI is issuing a voluntary recall of Kitchen's Cravings Premium Egg Salad Sandwich on Oat Multigrain Bread because it may contain undeclared traces of imitation crab meat.
The recalled product is an individually wrapped Premium Egg Salad Sandwich on Oat Multigrain Bread with sell by dates of 3/25/18, 3/26/18, 3/27/18, 3/28/18, and 3/29/18. The product has the UPC code 3977900079 and was sold in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Consumers who are allergic to fish or shellfish may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product. The recall was initiated after a Kwik Trip co-worker identified traces of imitation crab meat (containing fish or shellfish) in the egg salad product. To date, no reactions related to this product have been reported. No other Kwik Trip, Inc. products are affected by this recall.
