Apple Pie recipes ... oh, and pie crusts!

I have a hankering for a super tasty tender and flaky pie crust filled with a scrumptious apple pie filling.

Anyone have a tried and true recipe they'd like to share....

only allergens we avoid are sesame/sunflower

I know you probably want an actual apple pie, but I have to recommend the zucchini pie that I made earlier this fall - tastes just like apple - even to non-apple allergic folks.  It was delicious.

Janelle, I've heard/seen this before and have been anxious to try it. I've heard it fools even the most apple-savvy folks!

Yeah, it actually creeped me out too much to eat very much of it - it seemed like I was doing something wrong.
