So now a supplier (flour? sugar? something else?) has cross contaminated product and it sounds like the same supplier sells to both Bimbo and Pepperidge Farms. FFS

I am super freaked out by this one.   We have these in the pantry and the kids eat them EVERY DAY!  PF is the only bread we buy...so now is there a possibility of  breads being recalled?   Cross contaminated?  I thought PF was nut free?  Aaakkkk!
Seriously about to loose my mind over the increase in recalls.

I am going to call but I'm sure I will get nowhere....

ugh.  We use a lot of PF products.

I saw a THomas' recall on FB yesterday.  Only certain states.

Please please don't let Nature's Own be part of this recall. It's the one bread and bagel type we use.

I also got nervous as we exclusively use Pepperidge Farms and their customer service has been great.  Then I reread the link.

In the first link near the bottom:  "Customers can return the bagels to the store for a full refund. No other Pepperidge Farm products were affected by the recall, the company said."

"the company said"

Wondering if we can believe ANYTHING the company said now.

Is this where I blame iPhone and cuss like an old fighter pilot's wife?

Hmmm.  I don't understand why we would be doubting PF's integrity unless this has gotten bigger than I've read about.  It seems to me their bagels were made at the same site as the Thomas, Sara Lee and Jewel's bagels.  There was a common ingredient that contains peanut and almonds.

Have we any reason to believe it's bigger than this?  Anyone heard anything else?

I haven't used any campbell's brand for years. Last time I contacted PF they would only tell me they clean well so there is no need to label.

Wait--is Campbell's Bimbo, too?  I'm confused.

I trust PF. With my sesame allergy, there are very few bread-y manufacturers I do trust.  PF, Pillsbury and Lender's.  That's it.

I don't distrust their integrity, just noting how these recalls tend to snowball.

I was under the impression (checked many years ago - so it may have changed) that Thomas bagels weren't safe.   So then if Pep Farm is made in the same factory as Thomas'....how can they actually be safe?
This has me doubting every single thing I buy and have bought for years.
Need to grocery shop today and just don't know what to trust anymore.   :-/
