Test with Potential to Measure Seriousnes of Allergy?

I wish they had mentioned the component test which also gives us an idea of severity.

I had heard of this once before, actually.  I'm trying to remember where, but it went into more detail.  If I can find the link I'l post it here. 
ANA peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, potato, sorghum

What I think differentiates this from the component test, was that the I heard the component test could only be used to peanut and brazil nut.  This would cover everything, I think?

I ran across this.  I am sick and am feeling light-headed, but this seems to suggest that they can see the proteins of others.  But I don't know about actual component testing for other allergens.
