As someone who is a counterpart to the person asking you for that gift, what I might do instead is send a letter to the president, the VP of Advancement, the Director of Annual Giving, the Disbikity Services Director, and of the school has a position that focuses on inclusion (the place where I work has a high level position whose title has "Inclusion" in it). In the letter, I would say that you are an annual donor. If you've He Ben consecutively for more than five years, I would say that. I would tell them that you would hope your alma later honor efforts to increase inclusivity.

And if you need help finding the names and contact info of the people  I listed, I am more than happy to help you.

The institution I work for actually has "Justice" as part of its mission, so it would be really easy for me to draw a line between inclusion and its mission.

Thanks for the suggestion Mac.  I will probably still donate to the specific department that I usually do...my response was more of a knee jerk reaction.
