Do you still use Dr. Bronner products?

My dd needs lip balm and I just don't want to use chapstick. I know the arachidyl alcohol is probably not an issue but she read the ingredients and does not want to use it. So I was going to order some Dr. Bronner brand but now I see that they have snack bars with almonds and hemp nuts in them.

If not, is there another good brand that is for-sure safe?

DD uses the Blistex tubes.

(All but the tropical-- because we avoid mango-- though I've not called on it.)

She's been using it for several years now.  It's the closest thing we have found to "gloss" which makes for a little better normalcy, too.  KWIM?

(When you're an adolescent girl, stuff like fruity-smelling lip stuff, apparently, matters a great deal.)

Just don't ask how many times I've had to re-wash a lip-balmed load of clothing after finding a tube in my dryer.   :disappointed:
Resistance isn't futile.  It's voltage divided by current.

No, our products are not made in the same facility as the Alpnacks.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you.

Actually my question was if the soaps and lip balms are made in the same
place as the snacks. If they are, we will avoid since we have nut
allergies. If they are made in a separate facility, we can continue to
use Dr Bronner's soaps and lip balms. Thank you.

They also make an almond castille soap - not sure if that is a true almond product or not - says natural almond fragrance on a few of the products.

DS1 - Wheat, rye, barley and egg
DS2 - peanuts
DD -  tree nuts, soy and sunflower
Me - bananas, eggplant, many drugs

IIRC, their almond scent is apricot derived, but I'd double-check that.

If you're looking for a lip-balm alternative, Badger is awesome.
The 3 is silent.

I was about to order some Badger and on another thread, someone said they called and were told the tubes were on shared lines with nuts. On their site it only mentions shared lines with wheat. Here is the thread and it's about 7 posts down. Originally posted by gufyduck at the old board.
