A stranger in the restaurant offered an Epi-Pen Jr. to her, and Robbins-Brinson administered it to Diallo, but the smaller dose contained in the device was not enough to stop the reaction, she said

I.  Can't.  Read.  Another.  Story like this.  It's like a knife through the heart, every time.

All I could think of reading this was being at a macadamia nut plantation in Hawaii and the BIG signs everywhere that peanuts were processed there. 

I would whip out an epi if I saw something like that happening.  Egads, the poor family.  sigh
