Food Allergy Education Network

The Food Allergy Education Network (FAEN) was founded by Gina Mennett Lee, a mother of a two children, one of whom has a life-threatening food allergy.   It began in 2009 as a support group for parents of children with food allergies, and now is comprised of a dedicated board of directors and many volunteers.

She's an M.Ed. That's extremely interesting.

My first impression is that they're tackling all the problem areas that most want swept under the rug. As in putting it front and center without any apologies. 

You know that P&A NDRN thing I keep pushing lately? Yeah, their staff attorney is from his state's P&A. That's another huge positive, his CV is impeccable he's been there pretty much through the inception of special education law starting in the 1980s.
